Abby Stroot 

18b President

Abby owns Pincushion, a sewing shop that specializes in Alterations, Custom Garments, and Sewing Classes. After moving to Vegas almost a decade ago, she has worked as Costume Designer for several theatres including: Majestic Repertory Theatre, Las Vegas Little Theatre, Super Summer Theatre, The Vegas Theatre Company, and Opera Las Vegas. She is very passionate about the 18b Community and is thrilled to be serving as the 18b Association President. 


Sarah Collins 

18b Treasurer 

Sarah is a third culture child who identifies as Puertorican with Spanish being her first language followed by English and French.  In 2015 Sarah opened Main Street Peddlers Antique Mall at 1400 S. Main Street, which she currently owns along with Kat Weatherspoon. Sarah also produces the Antique Alley Map in The Southern Nevada Country Register.

Corey runs the First Friday Foundation and has been a part of the 18b Arts District Association for over 5 years.

Megan Linney

18b Board Director

Megan Linney, Founder of The Layer Lounge, is a lifelong professional in the beauty and wellness industry. As a licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist, she has been a member of several esteemed spa teams. She has worked in many different capacities of the industry, from performing and developing spa services to building internationally recognized spas. Traveling around the world and working on both coasts have exposed her to many different cultures and beauty rituals. Through this journey, she learned first-hand how powerful transformation is when touch, education, and self-care merge in one’s life resulting in confidence, self-acceptance and living your best life.

Nancy is the owner of FOMO Design Lab, and though she's only been in Vegas for three years she's been very active in the arts community from day one!


Becky Miller

18b Vice President

Becky is the Board Vice President and 20+ year business and property owner in the Arts District. She runs Main Street Mercantile (home of Kitty La Floof) where she specializes in selling vintage and gift items and making vintage inspired clothing for the non-vintage figure. She's had some terrific mentors in her lifetime. They've inspired her to keep giving to others and to keep building our awesome neighborhood. The 18b Las Vegas Arts District is truly the heart and soul of Las Vegas and she's honored to serve our community.

Curtis Walker owns Photo Bang Bang and has been responsible for creating some of the most iconic images of the Arts District and DTLV.

Derek Stonebarger owns ReBar and Davey's, and was 18b Board President for seven years. He's now part of the team that's helping to restore the Huntridge Theatre!

Evelyn Leslie

Evelyn Connors Leslie moved to Las Vegas in 2010 and lives downtown with her husband Jake and far too many cats. A retired musical theatre performer, she fell in love with the downtown community and its fabulous local art and businesses. Evelyn joined the 18b Board to help build and grow the arts community and ensure small businesses are able to continue to thrive. She loves living downtown for the walkability and access to amazing bars, restaurants and theatres and on any given night can generally be found somewhere in 18b!


Lee Lanier

Lee is a professional animator, visual effects artist, director, author, illustrator, muralist, and figurative painter based in Boulder City, Nevada with a gallery in Las Vegas, NV. In other words, he likes to stay busy!


Michelle Patrick

18b Board Director

Over the past decade, Michelle Patrick has worked at the intersections of theater, dance, film, arts programming, and cultural facilitation. Her work currently focuses on non-profit arts organizations, cultural institutions, and individual artists.  Originally from Queens, New York, she is also an actress, voice over artist and has a varied background as an arts administrator that includes the Nevada Arts Council, City of Las Vegas, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and the Sundance Film Festival. She also enjoys shoe-shopping and watching Maury’s DNA test results…who knew?

Rebecca Holden

Rebecca Holden has been attending the 18b Las Vegas Arts District Board Meetings since mid-2016. In 2018, Ms. Holden was elected to serve as a Board Member and Government Liaison as a representative of the City of Las Vegas. A longtime Las Vegas resident and arts advocate, Holden works in support of the Arts District's mission to serve as a community connector, promote the creative arts, and support commercial, professional, and residential growth and vitality of the neighborhood.
